** News ** Couple of songs I mixed have been @ #1 on the CHR charts over the last few weeks. Chasens ‘On and On’ and Seabirds ‘Don’t You Know You’re Beautiful?’ .. nice eh!

So the old website was way out of date. I’ll get a nice new website up to coincide with my new facility completion. Thinking I will post pics and maybe videos here as the studio construction gets underway. Of course I’ll be continuing mixing thru the entire process (Gotta live!) So don’t sweat - your project is not gonna get shuffled back ...
About the build:
I have a 520 sq ft. unfinished space in the castle I call home. Got an amazing 3d design underway thanks to Mr. Zac Marcengil. It is primarily purposed for my private mix room, but will have a a booth large enough for a drum kit and sound lock areas enough to track a full band if needed. This will be the 4th studio I have built in my 20 years in the business. It will be by far the best both sonically and visually. See the links on the right for build progress
About Me
I am primarily a mixer these days although I do the occasional producing gig to have extra creative outlet. Acts worked on in the last couple years include: Britt Nicole, Barlow Girl, Bethel Redding, Jesus Culture, Brenton Brown, Charmaine, Chris and Conrad, Christy Nockels, Daniel Kirkley, Drentch, Hearts of Saints, Joy Lippard, Meghan Kabir / Flashmob, Michael Gungor, Nevertheless, Newsboys, Philmont, Planet Shakers, Plumb, Robbie Seay Band, Rebecca St James, Remedy Drive, Robert Pierre, Seabird, Sixteen Cities, Sonicflood, Starfield, Stellar Kart, Tooth and Nail Worship, Write This Down, Wayne Kerr, Mute Math, Joel and Luke, Article One, Ayiesha Woods, Stephanie Smith, Esterlyn, Josh Wilson, Kim Walker, Morning Will Break, Rush of Fools. I have several gold and platinum selling credits, and almost always have several songs in the Christian radio charts. For such I am deeply grateful to all who have trusted me and continue to do so.
Geek info
Currently I am mixing in the box using a ProTools HD5 system, a huge arsenal of plugins and a great control surface. Big fan of total and quick recall for speedy revisions in the new world of perfection and creative searching. I grew up learning on SSL, Soundcraft, Soundtracs and AMEK mixing consoles. I did love those boards and learned a ton using (and owning) them, but I will never go back by choice. The rockstar glam factor of a lovely huge console is the only thing I miss. I am planning on installing an ICON console in the new room at some point to recapture some of that vibe. On a side note - having mixed in the box for 10 years now I can confidently say that for those who persist, the sonic rewards blow the old methods away at every level (other than the aforementioned glam factor). Feel free to flame that, but it is a genuine and not ill-informed belief.
Stay tuned ....
